This album is the fruition of a journey that began in 2014 with a tentative step to record some follow up tracks to the well received 'Song for the night' ep..little did we know it would be 2016 before we could record again, but now we are happy to finally achieve our goal of releasing the album, whatever it took.

The songs are all linked with a soothing quality that makes a coherent listen in its entirety, they sound like they belong together.
Simplicity is king in Silkwinderworld, and like the slow river bends there are depths that may not be obvious at the surface.
